My favourite illustrator!

Here are a couple of illustrations by Diego Garcia Gomez, I have asked him for more so I hope to be posting more of his great work!

Vertice Magazine 1939

Here are some photos I have taken from a Spanish Magazine called Vertice that run from 1936 to 1947. The issue I am featuring here is from 1939, just at the beginning of the second world war. The publication is of incredible quality, the paper is as thick as wallpaper, the illustrations and photos and wonderful and the advertisements, well what can I say, have a look for yourself!

Some old Frank Sinatra LP's

These Pics are all from 50's and 60's records, the crackling, the browning sellotape are not photoshop effect, they really are that old!

One of the best musicals of all time, with one of the best numbers!

Buildings of once great expectations.

This picture was taken in an old derelict buildings they were pulling down and although the workmen kept telling me to leave, I could not resist creeping back in. The whole place had an aura of miss Havisham, a memory of what had once been very grand and beautiful.
